Can I wear it on the plane or put it in carry-on bags?
Sure, you can wear it on the plane. All ororo heated apparel is TSA-friendly. All ororo batteries are lithium batteries and you must keep them in your carry-on luggage. -
Will the heated apparel work at temperatures below 32℉/0℃?
Yes, it will still work well. However, if you’re going to spend a lot of time in sub-zero temperatures, we recommend you purchase a spare battery. so you don’t run out of heat! -
How long will the vest keep me warm?
On a full charge, you can enjoy up to 10 hours of warmth on the low setting. Even on high, it’ll keep you toasty for about 3 hours—plenty of time for a football game or a grocery run. If you would like longer hours of heating, consider getting a backup battery to extend the warmth. -
What’s the real difference between this and the Classic Vest?
If you're looking to cut the bulk, this is it! This quilted vest is 50% thinner and 30% lighter than our classic version (only about 13.0oz for a Medium). They both use FELLEX® insulation for exceptional heat retention capabilities. The heating systems offer the same heating levels, while the classic heated vest has a thicker insulation that may perform better to trap the warmth. You may choose based on your needs for different activities. -
Are these vests water-resistant or wind-resistant?
Yes, they are! The quilted shell is designed to handle those breezy days and light drizzles, so you stay dry and cozy.
